Uncle Tom, I have so many wonderful memories during my 65 years, too numerous to mention. Like when you still lived on Sigel St, your wedding day, moving to your home in Berlin, great barbecues, and most recently, reminiscing about growing up with my dad. Always a kind, soft spoken person. I will miss you. Your Nephew, Joe

It was truly a pleasure to have been in your company for 34 years. I felt as though you were another grandparent to my two boys growing up. If there was a family event plan every one at the Rhea house wanted to be sure that Mr& Mrs Peters would be coming to a holiday dinner, graduation party or just watching the Eagles win the Super Bowl. They were a huge part of us. They would ask all the time not just about their own children and grandsons but genuinely care about what was going on with my boys. They were at my wedding along with my son’s wedding over 4 years ago. Mr Peters was so unselfish that he felt he was stopping his family from living their lives so he decided I am going to pull my self out of this equation and decide to visit my dad up in heaven. He will be sadly missed but he will always be by all of your side. Maybe not physically but he will show you signs. Rest easy Mr Peters, We all are blessed to have met you and have known you

Poppie,
It is so hard to not have you here anymore. I will never ever forget the man that you were. I was blessed with the two best grandfathers anyone in this world could ever ask for. You were loving, devoted, hard-working, caring, and set such a good example of what it meant to be a husband, father and grandfather. You were always curious as to how your grandchildren were doing in school, work, and life. I’ll always be appreciative of everything you taught me (navigating Philadelphia, lawn care, tips on tying a tie, parallel parking, and so much more). You were always so kind and calm. Never in a bad mood. You were a role model, and will never ever be forgotten. I’m happy you are in heaven now and at peace. Mom-mom will be well taken care of along with the beautiful house you had built together.
We all love you and miss you more than anything. I will continue to work hard, try to be the best family man I can be, and live my life in a way that you would be proud of.
Rest in Peace Poppie. Love Christopher

Dad,
I am heartbroken and will never forget the wonderful father you were, gentle, kind, soft spoken, caring, hardworking, loving and one who cherished his family above anything. You had a genuine heart of gold and embellished everything that stood for a true gentleman. Your love for mommy and your children was like no other. In my lifetime I’ve never heard you speak an ill word about anyone. My grief is immense but until we meet again I promise to take care of mommy and I’ll never ever forget you and will hold you so close in my broken heart and pray that having you there will help me heal. I will NEVER forget all your years of love and support and I will forever cherish all of our time spent together, it meant everything to me. I will miss seeing your beautiful face and smile each day and telling you “Hi Dad” when I walked in the room. I love you so much Dad, your only and loving daughter.

Poppie,
Words cannot express how wonderful of a grandfather you were. You were the epitome of a gentleman and family man. Along every step of the way, you were always there to support us. I know you will continue to be here in spirit. You are in a better place now and will never be forgotten. Hope the saxophones sound good and the Phillies never lose! I love you always.
