Obituary of William R. Wilcox

The family of William R Wilcox, 42 of Buena NJ is saddened to announce his sudden and tragic passing on August 14th, 2022. He leaves behind and is the beloved son of William and Diana (née Ward) Wilcox. Loving and devoted father of son Billy. Dear brother of Michael Wilcox and Eden Wilcox. Uncle of Vivienne Rose. Grandson of Mary Ward. Also survived by Heather Macrie, his son’s mother. Bill will be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles and many cousins.

He is predeceased by his brother Ricky Wilcox; uncles Rick Ward and Michael Wilcox; grandparents Richard Ward, William Wilcox, Sr., and Edith DiPalmo.

Bill was born in beautiful Socorro, Colombia and grew up in Buena NJ. He attended Our Lady of Victories grade school and Buena Regional High School. For quite a few years His work as a dealer in the casinos took him to Atlantic City, PA and Connecticut. And a business venture designing and making poker tables. He also drove for Uber.

He was a music enthusiast from his early years playing drums and guitars. Loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and restoring cars. He spent a lot of time outdoors hiking, swimming and camping and spending time with his son Billy. He always enjoyed the simple things in life and gave his all to everything he did and everyone he knew.

We will all miss the easygoing, quiet, caring, loving sweet soul that he was. He had a way of bringing out the best in everyone and only saw the good in people. That was our Bill!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday October 24, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN NJ 08009.
