Beverly Ann Brinkman, formerly of Marlton, New Jersey passed away peacefully on November 24, 2021. She was born November 3, 1934 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Beverly was the eldest of four children born to Eleanor and Walter Brinkman and was the beloved sister of Bob Brinkman of Disputanta Virginia, Barbara Mier (Edward) of Canton Michigan, and Bonnie Alexander Esq. of Chicago Illinois. She will be dearly missed by her nephews, Robert (Helen) Brinkman, Richard (Jane) Brinkman, and Jeffrey (Heatherwynn Burton) Mier, nieces Jennifer Alexander, and Kristi Mier, as well as several grand nieces and nephews.

Beverly grew up in Grand Rapids and after her graduation from Creston High School she attended Central Michigan University for two years where she met her wonderful friend, Theresa Rose. Beverly and Theresa worked at the Michigan Central Railroad building in Detroit, Michigan until 1979 when they moved to New Jersey, as their employer transferred their jobs to Philadelphia, PA. Beverly retired from Conrail in Philadelphia in December 1996.

Beverly was known for her generosity, humor, and her love of animals. She volunteered her time and resources to Woodford Cedar Run Refuge, where she cared for injured and disabled wildlife. She will be remembered by many friends who volunteered with her. Her family members and her many friends will miss her greatly. She was predeceased by her parents and her friend, Theresa, as well as several cousins. At Beverly’s request, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of her life will be held in Michigan at a later date.

If any of her friends or family members wish to remember Beverly, a memorial bench is planned in her honor for the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, 4 Sawmill Road, Medford, NJ 08055 or send a contribution to any charitable organization of your choice.
