Obituary of John E. Erickson

John E. Erickson, 75 years, of Pine Hill NJ, passed away on September 10, 2021. Son of the late Elmer and Lorriane Erickson (née Drinkhouse). Beloved husband of Ann Erickson (née Squillace). Loving father of John C. Erickson (Sherrie) and Robert J. Erickson (Colleen). Dear brother of Joseph Erickson (Sue), Debbie Green (Winifred) and the late Eric Erickson. Cherished grandfather of John A. Erickson, Annika R. Erickson, Jack R. Erickson, Finn K. Erickson and Charles J. Erickson and great grandfather of John, JoAnna and Joseph Erickson.

 

John worked as a printer for 25 years with M&M Display in Philadelphia, finishing his career with another 10 years with Prestige Graphics before his retirement. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Edward’s Church, which is now part of the St. Simon Stock Parish. Past Commander of the American Legion 286 in Pine Hill. Some of John’s favorite things to do included fishing and wood working, and especially spending time with his family, grandkids and great grandkids.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday September 18th from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the St. Simon Stock Parish Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 178 White Horse Pike, Berlin. Memorial Mass 11:00AM. Interment of ashes with military honors to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 would be appreciated.
