
Obituary of Vittorio Riccardo Lombardi
Vittorio “Victor” Lombardi, Sr., 83 years, of Berlin NJ, passed away peacefully at home with his family on May 19, 2021. Beloved husband for 57 years of Josephine Lombardi (née Musumeci). Loving father of Victor Lombardi Jr. (Dedra) of Laurel Springs, John Lombardi (Wendy Alexander) of Elk Twp. and Anne Marie Miller (Richard) of Berlin. Proud grandfather of Samantha, Gina Marie, Raymond, Amanda, Victor, Victoria, Deanna, Natalie, Tyler and Ciara and great grandfather of Isabella, James, Lilliana and Amelia. Dear uncle of Arnoldo Cascianna (Amelia Corsi) of Castelfiorentino, Italy and great uncle of Ilaria and Claudio.
Victor was born in Vitiana, Italy and immigrated to America in 1953 at the age of 16. He moved to Berlin Borough in 1963. He has maintained his dual citizenship in Italy and America and enjoyed visiting his family home throughout his life. In 1961 he became a Cement Mason with Local 699. He also built a cabin in Central Pennsylvania where he grew his own grapes to make his homemade wine
Taking care of his yard and his fig trees were very important to Victor, and he was also a wildlife enthusiast. At the age of 62 he decided to take up golf, he enjoyed that and continued to play weekly. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies but most of all loved spending time with his family. He was an amazing man and will be missed terribly by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday evening from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and again Tuesday morning from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE BERLIN NJ 08009. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00AM at St. Simon Stock Parish, Mt. Carmel Church178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Vincent de Paul Society at 157 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009 would be appreciated.
