Obituary of Chun Hua Huang-Lee
Our dearly beloved Chun Hua Huang Lee, 63, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2021, after a valiant 2-year battle against pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family at home in Voorhees, New Jersey, and is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thung Shin, and her sons Gene, 28, and Chyau, 23.
Chun Hua was the youngest of four siblings, born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1957. As a young woman, she worked as an accountant at Man Qing Luo, where she was first introduced to the love of her life, Thung Shin Huang Lee. In 1988, they took a chance by immigrating to America to pursue the American Dream, working as a team to build their successful importing business, New Hope Trading, from the ground up.
Chun Hua was an extremely caring and involved mother to her two sons, Gene and Chyau. Somehow, between juggling her busy business on the road, and parenting her boys at home, she was also a dedicated part time Chinese schoolteacher at CSSJ. She leaves behind many positive and memorable impressions on her students and the larger CSSJ community.
