Obituary of Francis J. Madden
Francis J. "Mike" Madden, 82 years, of Laurel Springs NJ and Chincoteague VA, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2020. Beloved husband for 56 years of Gail (née Rogers) Madden. Loving father of Jill (Michael) Ricca. Dear brother of Robert (Pat) Madden and George (Phyllis) Madden and brother-in-law of Sandy Rogers (Tony Giuffre). Cherished grandfather of Michael Jr. and Briana (Steve). Also survived by his nieces and extended family.
Mike was a graduate of Overbrook High School in Pine Hill and a proud US Marine Corps Veteran. He worked for 37 years at Pathmark as a butcher. He was an avid gardener and known for his tomatoes. Anyone who knew Mike, knew he was a wonderful cook. He loved God, his family and his church family very much. He was a board member of the East Berlin Community Church where he spent much of his time. He spent many years camping with his family and enjoying their house in Chincoteague VA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday morning from 10:30AM to 12:00PM at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN. Funeral service 12:00PM at the funeral home. Cremation and interment in Berlin Cemetery will take place privately. Due to the current regulations, face masks must be worn, and attendance will be limited to follow all COVID-19 guidelines.
